Terms of Service

These terms explain how GameTechHQ subscriptions, payments and cancellations work, and how you may use our service.

Summary

  • Plans are recurring subscriptions billed in advance through PayPal (USD) for each term (e.g. every 6 months or every year).
  • Your plan renews and is charged automatically at the end of each term until you cancel the automatic payment in your PayPal account.
  • If you cancel, you will not be charged again and your access continues until the end of the term you already paid for.
  • Payments are non-refundable, including renewal payments made before you cancelled and unused time, except where required by law.
  • We may end a subscription early for reasons such as payment disputes, fraud, or a breach of these terms. We will email you the reason and the end date.
  • We email you about 7 days before your current term ends.
  • Use the crawler lawfully: respect website terms and robots.txt, and do not share, resell or reverse-engineer your account or the software.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, buying a subscription or using the GameTechHQ dashboard and software (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You will be asked to accept these terms in your dashboard, and again whenever we publish a new version.

2. Your account

  • You must give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
  • Each subscription is for one account holder. Do not share your login or let others use your subscription.

3. Plans and payment

  • Plan prices and terms are shown on our pricing page at the time you buy.
  • Plans are recurring subscriptions. Payments are processed by PayPal in US dollars (USD) and are charged in advance for each term of the plan.
  • By subscribing, you authorise PayPal to charge your PayPal account automatically at the start of each new term until you cancel.
  • Your subscription starts when PayPal confirms your first payment.
  • You are responsible for any taxes, currency conversion or PayPal fees that apply to you.
  • Enterprise plans are arranged with our sales team and may have separate written terms.

4. Subscription term and renewal

  • Each plan runs for a term (for example 6 months or 1 year) from its start date. The end of your current term is shown in your dashboard.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically for the same term at the end of each term, and PayPal charges the plan price at that time, unless the automatic payment has been cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Whether your plan renews depends on the automatic payment in your PayPal account: if it is active, the plan renews; if it has been cancelled, it does not.
  • If a renewal payment fails, your access ends at the end of the term you already paid for.
  • If we change the price of a plan, the new price applies from your next renewal. We will tell you before it takes effect.

5. Cancelling your subscription

  • To stop future payments, cancel the automatic payment for GameTechHQ in your PayPal account (in PayPal, under Settings → Payments → Manage automatic payments) before your next renewal date.
  • You can also mark your subscription as cancelled from Dashboard → Subscription. To make sure you are not charged again, also check that the automatic payment is cancelled in PayPal.
  • When you cancel, your subscription is marked as ending. You keep full access until the end of the term you already paid for. After that date, access stops and you will not be charged again.
  • To continue after the end date, subscribe to a new plan.

6. Refund policy

All payments, including automatic renewal payments, are final and non-refundable. We do not give full or partial refunds for unused time, for cancelling before the end of a term, for renewals that were not cancelled before the renewal date, or for not using the Service, except where a refund is required by applicable consumer protection law.

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us before opening a PayPal dispute so we can look into it.

7. Suspension or cancellation by us

We may cancel your subscription, end it on an earlier date, or suspend your account if, for example:

  • a payment is reversed, charged back or disputed;
  • we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse; or
  • you breach these terms, including the acceptable use rules.

When we do this, we will email you the reason and the date your access ends. Where we end your subscription early because of your breach of these terms, no refund is due.

8. Emails and notices

  • We send service emails to the address on your account, including payment confirmations, cancellation notices and a reminder about 7 days before your current term ends.
  • These emails are part of the Service and are not marketing messages.

9. Acceptable use

You may use the Service and the GameTech web crawler only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • crawl or collect data from websites in breach of their terms of use, robots.txt rules or applicable law, including data protection and copyright law;
  • collect personal data without a lawful basis, or use the Service to send spam;
  • overload, disrupt or attack any website, network or our own systems;
  • share, resell, sublicense or rent your account or the software;
  • copy, modify, decompile or reverse-engineer the software, except where the law allows it.

You are responsible for how you use the data you collect with the Service.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we make a material change, we will publish a new version on this page and ask you to accept it in your dashboard before you continue using the Service. Changes do not affect payments you have already made.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that crawled data will be complete or accurate.

To the extent allowed by law, GameTechHQ is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your current subscription term. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
